Back in 2000, I wrote this primer I called “Your Personal Computer Driver’s License”. I was attempting to fill the gap between those who sold computers, Internet Providers and those who used the hardware and services without proper instruction or guidance. To this day, consumers are harmed by their lack of knowledge when it comes to using the Internet, dealing with e-mail, securing their systems and backing up their personally created information. I get angry when I hear of a breach, a system invasion, or damage done by a virus that could have been prevented if the user were better informed as to how to deal with such things BEFORE they occurred. I continually want to do more to help them. Here is the original version of my e-Book written over 20 years ago. It is still quite relevant to this day and I will be revising it in 2024. Anyone who purchases this version is entitled to receive my newly revised version when it is released.
